Piazza Cavour has been the center of Rimini since the Middle Ages, it was one of the most famous meeting venues, ceremonies, exhibitions and markets were held here. In this square there are there are three municipal buildings: Palazzo Garampi, Palazzo dell'Arengo and Palazzo del Podestà. Right in the middle of the Piazza Cavour is the beautiful Fontana Della Pigna, of ancient Roman origin, the beauty and harmony of its plays of water enchanted Leonardo da Vinci himself, whose words are engraved on the monument: "Make harmony with the different falls of water, as I saw in the fountain in Rimini".

Let’s have a leisure walk to reach the Piazza Tre Martiri, this is a unique place located between Roman Ariminium and the modern city, the square is a commercial and cultural centre; the movie maestro Federico Fellini, was born here and directed many of his famous films in the city; moving from the square on to Via IV Novembre you’ll pass a section of the original Roman road before reaching the Tempio Malatestiano, the unfinished cathedral church of Rimini.

Pop to Fellini’s favorite square, the Piazzetta dei Teatini, by the cathedral, from here reach another roman vestige, the Tiberius Bridge, completed in 20AD, enjoy the astonishing view of beautiful warm lights, on the other side lies Borgo San Giuliano, Rimini’s most beguiling district, this ancient fishing hamlet is filled with colorful cottages adorned with murals, many featuring scenes from Fellini’s films.
